The 48-Hour Film Project in Seattle challenges teams of filmmakers to write, shoot, and edit a short film in 48 hours. Our short, Pew Pew, aired at the SIFF Cinema Uptown, winning 'Audience Favorite.'

As the only female writer in the room, with a group of guys who knew we had a plane, guns, and fake cocaine at our disposal, I had to make a strong case to write a story about the magic of being a young girl with an ignorantly charming imagination and daring personality. In the end, the guys got what they wanted, but so did I. Watch the short below to see how it turned out.
